Prison Island
The historic small Prison Island lies about 30 minutes by boat from Stone town. The island was introduced by British first minister of Zanzibar Lloyd Mathews in 1893. The island is the home for Giant tortoise that have more than 190 years old you can enjoy different activities such as swimming, sunbathing and snorkelling..
